Jacquelene B. Burleson of Petrolia


Jacquelene B. Burleson, 82, of Petrolia, died Sunday, April 8, 2012.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Petrolia, Texas, Cemetery with Rev. Chris Dowd officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

A daughter of the late Stella (Brown) and Jack Grumbles, Mrs. Burleson was born on November 10, 1929, in Lindsay, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Burleson; sisters, Sylvia Wainscott, Dorothy Sheay, Wanda Luster and Daphine Neal; brother, James Grumbles. Survivors include: sons, Eulan B. Armour of Friendswood, Texas, and Widd Armour and wife, Cindy, of Petrolia; brother, Sonny Grumbles and wife, Ruby, of Duncan, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Nick Armour and Mary, Skylar Armour and wife, Tameica, Melody Bowers and husband, David, and Whitney Armour Herndon and husband, Blake; thirteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends and family from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at the funeral home.
