Billy Joe Duncan, 72, of Burkburnett, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2012, in Wichita Falls.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Friday, April 13 in the Petrolia with Brandon Dunn officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home of Henrietta.

Mr. Duncan was born on April 3, 1940, in Terrell, Okla., to Loyd and Hazel (Wade) Duncan. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a retired truck driver. He married Glynda Abbott in September 1986 in Henrietta.

He is preceded in death by one brother, Eldon Duncan; and one grandson, Danny Clark.

Survivors include his wife Glynda Duncan of Burkburnett; three sons, Billy Duncan and wife Terrie of Burkburnett, Brian Duncan of Burkburnett, and Terry Wooten and wife Stephanie of Iowa Park; four daughters, Loretta Ross and friend Dean Davis of Decatur, Shirl Duncan of Lawton, Okla., Tina Barmore and husband Tooey of Wichita Falls, and Sherry Bristow of Wichita Falls; two brothers, Curtis Duncan and wife Gladys of Petrolia, and Bruce Duncan and wife Carrol of Leon, Iowa; one sister, Mona Rogert and husband Roger of Omaha, Neb.; a sister-in-law, Melissa Duncan of Charlie; 17 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family will be at Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, April 12.
