Charles K. Seigler of Hunt


Charles Keith Seigler, 72, of Hunt, died April 6, 2012, in Kerrville.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 11 at the United Methodist Church of Hunt, with Pastor Sam Hunnicutt officiating. Services are under the direction of Grimes Funeral Chapel of Kerrville.

Mr. Seigler was born Jan. 24, 1940 in Joy to Clyde and Almeta (Browning) Seigler. He attended Midway School and Married Sybil Mitchell on Nov. 8, 1958 in Buffalo Springs. He worked 17 years as an aircraft mechanic at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, and later earned a degree in nursing from Midwestern State University. He worked as an RN at the Wichita Falls State Hospital and Kerrville State Hospital until retirement. He was active in Jaycees, Habitat for Humanity and the United Methodist Church of Hunt.

He is preceded in death by a brother, Bobby F. Seigler of Paducah.

He is survived by his wife, Sybil Seigler; a daughter, Danelle and husband Allen Brown; sisters Bennie Mitchell and Linda Armstrong; a sister-in-law, Rita Seigler; and two grandchildren.
