Two sentenced for violation of community supervision


The 97th District Court accepted two guilty pleas Monday, March 19, both for violation of probation.

Dewayne Tyrone Wiley – Judgment adjudicating guilt (community supervision revoked) for possession and transport of certain chemicals with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, a second-degree felony, for an Aug. 6, 2008, offense. Wiley was sentenced to 10 years in prison. He was credited 754 days. Wiley was sentenced to community supervision Feb. 17, 2009.

Robert Leo Wolverton – Judgment adjudicating guilt (community supervision violated) for theft of property greater that $1,500, less than $20,000, a state jail felony, for a June 26, 2010, offense. Wolverton sentenced of two years in state jail was suspended. He was given community supervision and must pay $1,296 in restitution.
