Spring has sprung across Clay County

Tulips at the home of Jerry and Doris Payne, as well as in yards everywhere, were in full bloom Friday. With a mild, wet winter past, spring is in full swing in Clay County. Red bud trees, plums and iris are also in bloom. More rain is possible this week with a 20 percent chance of thunderstorms today, a 30 percent chance of precipitation on Tuesday and a 40 percent chance of storms Wednesday.
