Dana Renee Vincent of Norman, Okla.


Dana Renee Vincent, 41, of Norman, Okla., died Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 19, at the chapel of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home. Burial will be the in Vashti Cemetery in Vashti, under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Ms. Vincent was born on Sept. 6, 1970 in Wichita Falls to Jerry Dale and Charlene Vincent. She attended Henrietta Public Schools and served in the U.S. Navy. She received a bachelor’s degree in social work from Midwestern State University, her master’s degree in social work from the University of Texas in Arlington, and was working toward a doctorate. She was a member and a volunteer for the Thunderbird Club House in Oklahoma, and enjoyed painting, playing games, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by a son, Michael Bonnin and wife Yente of Iowa Park; a daughter, Chelsea Bonnin of Norman, Okla.; parents Jerry Dale and Charlene Vincent of Temple; five sisters, Lana Ratliff of Iowa Park, Christina Devore of Wichita Falls, Carolyn Black of Wichita Falls, Bridgeda Corn of Killeen, and Kathrine Weiss of Lockhart; a brother, Glenn Atchley, III, of Copperas Cove; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be from 7- 8:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18, at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
