Herd sentenced to five years

A sentence of community supervision was revoked after Rickie Lee Herd pled guilty to probation violations Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Herd was sentenced to five years community supervision and a fine of $1,000 for possession of certain chemicals with intent to deliver on April 20, 2009 for an offense committed July 15, 2008.

For the violation of probation, Herd was sentenced to five years in prison. He is credited with 197 days served.

Darcy Lael Nichols – Obtaining controlled substance through fraud, a third-degree felony, for a July 18, 2011 offense. Nichols was sentenced to five years probation and a fine of $1,000. She is credited with 45 days served.

Adam Donnie Medellin – Illegal dumping 1,000 pounds or more, a state jail felony, for a Sept. 28, 2011 offense. Medellin was sentenced to two years community supervision and must pay restitution in an amount of $5,000.
