Murder suspect, accomplices indicted Tuesday

Justin Wayne Green was indicted on one charge of murder by a Clay County grand jury Tuesday for crime committed at a home south of Petrolia five years ago.

Green is believed to have shot a man to death and, with the help of his mother, sister and a family friend, buried the body in a shallow grave approximately one-quarter mile from the house on FM 2332.

Also indicted on Tuesday where Justin Wayne Green’s mother, Terri Janiece Green of Phoenix, Ariz., his sister, Brittany Jan Green, of Wichita Falls, and Stephanie Heaston-Corral of Iowa Park. All three were indicted on two counts each of tampering with physical evidence.

Justin Green and Brittany Green are in the Clay County Jail. Justin Green’s bond is set at $1 million, while Brittany Green’s is set at $150,000. Heaston-Corral is out on a $250,000 bond. Terri Green’s bond was set at $250,000. She remains in the Maricopa County, Ariz., jail, and is fighting extradition.

Investigators believe that Justin Green shot a man in a bedroom in the home, then called Terri Green to help clean the crime scene. Terri Green then contacted her daughter, Brittany Green, who asked Heaston-Corral for a ride to the house. Both are suspected of assisting in the cleanup and burying the body.
