Alice Strickland of Wichita Falls


Alice Strickland, 78, of Wichita Falls died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, in Wichita Falls.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Howard Chapman and Chaplain Harvey McMurry officiating. Burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.

Mrs. Strickland was co-owner of Strickland’s Lumber with her husband for 25 years.

Survivors include husband, Donald H. Strickland; three sons, Barry Strickland of Bremerton, Wash., Bruce Strickland of Joy, and Charles Strickland, Sr. of Wichita Falls; a brother, Waymon Sinclair of Cedar Park; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home in Wichita Falls.
