A winter weather advisory has been issued through noon Monday for western North Texas and southern Oklahoma.
Light snow is expected to spread over western North Texas and souther Oklahoma tonight, and will mix with, or change to, sleet and light freezing rain after midnight. Percipitation will end from west to east on Monday.
Snow and sleet accumulations are expected to average 2 inches or less. Accumulations of freezing rain or drizzle will be light.
Roads, especially bridges and overpasses, could become slick and hazardous. Sidewalks and parking lots also will be troublesome if left untreated.
