Bellevue’s varsity Eagles, down two players with injuries, gave Slidell a run Tuesday night, but could not overcome a 21-point fourth quarter from the Greyhounds.
The Eagles opened with a 14-12 lead over the Greyhounds, but Slidell bounced back in the second for a 26-26 halftime. Bellevue took over the lead with an 18-15 third quarter, but managed only 15 in the fourth.
Tyler Terry scored 17 points to lead the Eagles, followed by Jacob Belcher with 14. Cassetty and Broc Terry added eight points each, while Trace Garrison and John Grunseich scored six points each.
