First, we would like to make sure you are all aware of our therapy services. If you have been in the hospital for at least 3 nights during the last 30 days, you more than likely qualify for a short stay at Henrietta Care Center for therapy to help you get back on track until you are well enough to get back home. The rehabilitation department at HCC takes the important aspects of each patient’s well-being into account by maintaining a positive atmosphere, good communication, and individual care. HCC wants what is best for you and your happiness. We have therapist that can get you back on your feet and send you home with confidence. For more information, please call us at 538-4303.
Monday, Jan. 16, we celebrated National Hot Chocolate Month during our coffee hour. Most of us chose to have hot chocolate instead coffee to celebrate, but we do have a few die-hard coffee fans that needed their coffee. For the non-coffee drinkers, Beth keeps a supply of sugar-free hot chocolate and regular hot chocolate on-hand at all times.
We want to let the Clay County Leader know that we greatly appreciate the free papers you donate weekly for the residents. This is a real treat for all, and the residents really enjoy reading the paper. Thank you so much. We can never express our gratitude enough.
We would also like to thank the Clay County Pioneer Sentinel for posting our article on their website. It is great to have our article published in two places. We want to do everything possible to keep our community informed.
Skylar Jacobson, thank you for donating one hour of your time each week. Willie appreciates getting to play chicken foot with you. You truly are special. We are also glad that Jane and Sarah were back to volunteer again this week.
The residents missed the guys that came the week before last, and we hope they decide to come back soon.
We were glad to have Janice back with us. We would like to make a correction to a mistake in last week’s article. Janice’s husband was not sick after all. We are very glad they are both well, and we are excited to have her back as a volunteer in our facility after her one week absence.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Charlene Taylor and her family as she is hospitalized. We hope she recovers quickly, so she can return home to us. We are thinking about her constantly.
We are excited to announce that Velma Ashton is back with us. You and your family have all blessed us. We are grateful for you return. We all missed you, and we love you.
We are having our monthly birthday party honoring Ruthie Jones, Sam Bachman, and Leatrice Bouldin on Friday the 27th at 3 p.m. Come by and join us if you’d like. We would surely love to have you. Thanks, as always, to Henrietta Floral for the beautiful birthday corsages that you donate to HCC.
In case you have forgotten, we are still holding our weekly drawing at the local Dairy Queen. Please stop by Henrietta Dairy Queen and sign up to win a gift card courtesy of Henrietta Care Center! One lucky winner is drawn each week, and you cannot win unless you sign up. We appreciate your participation. Good luck.
We truly appreciate all the help and support we receive from our community and county. We are so blessed to be part of an area that has such wonderful people. Thank you for all you do. Have a great week!
