Two injured in FM 172 rollover accident

One person was evacuated by helicopter and another transported by ambulance following a one-vehicle rollover on FM 172 west of Bluegrove Saturday.

The accident was reported at approximately 2:40 p.m. Dec. 31 near Miller Shores Road at Lake Arrowhead. Alcohol is believed to have been a factor.

Efrain Moldondo, 50, of Wichita Falls, the driver of a 1990 Chevrolet mini-van lost control of the vehicle, which rolled at least one time, went through a fence and came to rest on the driver’s side.

Moldondo was ejected from the vehicle and was airlifted. Passenger Alhordo Bustamando, 54, of Wichita Falls, was also injured. Both were taken to United Regional Hospital in Wichita Falls.
