A special thank you goes out to the Joy Baptist children’s group for spending their Sunday singing for the residents. Residents enjoyed every minute of them. Thanks for bringing such joy to all. We hope you all had a merry Christmas. Please come by Henrietta Care Center and sing for us again soon.

Linda Henderson, thank you for volunteering Wednesday. We really enjoyed baking Christmas cookies. They were a nice treat.

Thank you to Tiffany from Home Instead for coming out Thursday the 21st to sing for the residents. We really appreciate you. She also comes once a month to call Bingo. We appreciate all the time she dedicates to our residents.

To the Church of Christ, thank you for allowing us to borrow your folding chairs for the residents Christmas Party. They were put to good use, and we would not have been able to have our party without your generous assistance.

Nancy Dickerson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Pollard, donated wipes for the residents in the sunroom. Our staff and residents appreciate your generosity.

Kay Wetsel, thank you so much for the handmade Afghans you made for the residents. We used them for our daily Christmas drawings, and of course everyone loved them.

Jan. 10 is National Organize Your Belongings Day. This is a good reminder to let families know that we really do need your help with this. Residents’ closets are in need of organizing. Out with the old, summer, wrong sizes, worn, and torn; this will greatly help our staff in taking care of your family members. As you know space is limited. This being said, please take the time to help family and staff. We really would appreciate your help.

We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas. We also hope your new year will be a healthy and a safe one. May God bless each and every person who took time to volunteer your time, come by and visit, donate, or support us in any way this past year. We truly appreciate you and would not have such a blessed home without the time you spend with us. We feel our residents’ quality of life has so much more value with you in it. We are very fortunate to have your involvement. Thank you again.
