Four plead guilty in 97th Dist. Court


The 97th District Court accepted five plea agreements in Clay County Monday, Dec. 19.

Dalton Ray Dyer – Criminal mischief more than $1,500, less than $20,000, a state jail felony, for a May 23 offense. Dyer received two years deferred adjudication, and must pay restitution in the amount of $1,513.69.

Jose Guadalupe Alba-Rivera – Driving while intoxicated, third offense, a third-degree felony, for a July 2 offense. Alba-Rivera was sentenced to five years probation and five years community supervision, to be served concurrently.

Robert Ray White – Possession of a controlled substance in an amount of more than one gram, less than four grams, a third-degree felony, for a Feb. 21 offense. White was sentenced to five years community supervision, deferred adjudication.

Johnny Wayne Wiest – Judgment adjudicating guilt (community supervision revoked) for possession of a controlled substance on an amount of more than one gram, a state jail felony, for an April 24, 2009, offense. Wiest was sentenced to 180 days confinement in state jail. He was credited 149 days. Wiest received community supervision Jan. 19, 2010.

Ryan Craig Hall – Possession and transport of chemicals with intent to manufacture a controlled substance, a second-degree felony, for a May 19 offense. Hall received five years in prison. He is credited with three days served.
