Park to host waterfowl hunt

Mentored waterfowl hunts are scheduled Dec. 14-15 and Jan. 11-12 at Lake Arrowhead State Park. To participate in the hunt, it is mandatory that hunters attend the Hunter Education Safety Class Tuesday, Dec. 13 and Jan. 10.

The hunter must have a hunting license (available at the Park), an HIP Certification (free with the license), a Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp and a State Migratory Hunting and Conservation Stamp.  The Stamps are available at the game warden’s office in FreMar Valley or the downtown post office in Wichita Falls.

Further information regarding these hunts is available at the State Park, 528-2211.
