‘B’ teams split games


The seventh and eighth grade “B” Bearcats played in Montague this past weekend.  The eighth beat Bowie on Friday night and the seventh grade lost to Gold-Burg Saturday afternoon.

In the eighth grade game, Henrietta too a 20-7 win, with Bailey Mawson leading the scoring with seven points. Justin Koetter and Cutter Holloway scored four points each. Chance Terry had three points for the Bearcats while Dellen Koetter and Colton Hill each added a free throw.

Zack Sowers led the scoring in the Bearcat seventh grade 36-17 loss to Gold-Burg. Skylar Castro and Brayden McDonald also scored for the Bearcats. Coach Chapa said the group played hard.
