Eagles dominate Valley View in first

Bellevue dominated Valley View through the first quarter, allowing the Eagles to cruise to a 63-53 win. Trace Garrison and Tyler Terry combined for 39 points.

The Eagles outscored Valley View 31-9 in the first quarter. The lead was boosted by three-pointers from Terry and Garrison.

Garrison landed a second three-pointer with just more than a minute remaining in the half. Bellevue scored 11 in the second to finish the quarter with a 42-23 lead.

Valley View scored 14 points in the second half, but fell further behind Bellevue in the third, outscored 17-12. Valley View poured in 18 points in the fourth, while Bellevue put four on the scoreboard.

Garrison finished the night with 20 points, while Tyler Terry scored 19. Brandt Cassetty added 12. Jacob Belcher scored eight points, followed by B. Terry with four and Ethan Staley with two points.

The Eagles travel to Chico Nov. 22. JV begins at approximately 5:30 p.m.
