Byers ISD held its annual Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 22. On the front lawn, participants played Ring the Bottle, Softball Toss, Putt Putt Golf, Basketball Throw, Cake Walk, Kiddie Korner games and bought chances for items to raffled. Inside were a concession stand, bingo, and numerous items in a silent auction.
Winners of the raffles were Audrey Harding, the seventh and eighth grade’s Family Night at the Movies basket; Mike Hulse, the freshman and sophomore’s $50 Walmart card; Pam Hooper, the junior’s chicken bingo; Jo Fox, the seniors’ $50 gift card; and Aaron Daniels, the all-school quilt top, which he then presented to Judy Wade, veteran teacher who had tried unsuccessfully for 46 years to win the quilt top.
Byers ISD sends a big thank you to everyone who donated items or attended this years’ event.
