Becky Reese, 53, of Byers, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011.

Funeral service will be at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 24, at the Byers Assembly of God Church, with Brother James Keenum officiating, and Jon Curry assisting. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.

Ms. Reese was born Nov. 26, 1957, in Byers to Ann Reese and the late E.J. Reese. She graduated from Byers High School and Midwestern State University , where she majored in business. She was employed with Home Health Services at Clay County Memorial Hospital. She had been employed with Parker-Mayo Grain Elevator, the County of Wichita Falls, First National Bank of Byers and Wichita County Child Welfare. She enjoyed serving others, helping the Byers Volunteer Fire Department, participating in activities with her church, the Assembly of God, and volunteering to help wherever she was needed.

She was preceded in death by her father E.J., and brother, Harold Reese.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Reese of Byers; a sister, Jeannie Burris and husband Ken of Byers; a brother Eddie Reese and wife Nan of Waurika, Okla.; a sister-in-law, Sandra Reese of Alaska, two nieces and two nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, at Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta.

Memorials may be made to the Byers Volunteer Fire Department.
