Cemetery roads to be resurfaced

Access to parts of Hope Cemetery in Henrietta will be limited beginning Thursday, Sept. 9, while roads in the cemetery are resurfaced.

Sexton Brad Corley said the cemetery will be divided into two sections, and roads in the west side of the cemetery will be resurfaced first. The resurfacing process will take four coats of material and may take as long as two weeks.

Corley asked that visitors not drive on roads during the resurfacing process because the oil may damage their vehicles. The roads under construction will be barricaded and the City of Henrietta will not be responsible for cleaning tar of off vehicles that drive around road blocks.
