September indictments handed down

A Clay County grand jury handed down 10 indictments against nine individuals Sept. 14, including five counts of possessing or manufacturing methamphetamine.

Indictments are as follows:

  • Casey Allen Deason – one count manufacture of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, more than four grams but less than 200 grams, on Sept. 9, 2010, a first degree felony.
  • James Zachary Donaldson – one count manufacture of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, more than four grams but less than 200 grams, on Sept. 9, 2010, a first degree felony.
  • Joshua William Lane – two counts possession of a controlled substance. Count 1: Possession of methamphetamine, more than one gram but less than four grams, a third degree felony. Count 2: Possession of methylenedioxymethamphetamine (Ecstasy), less than one gram, a state jail felony. Both counts on May 3.
  • Robert Ray White – one count possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, more than one gram but less than four grams, on Feb. 21, a state jail felony.
  • Terry Lynn Fincher – one count indecency with a child (younger than 17) on Aug. 22, a second degree felony.
  • Martin Dwain Pursel – one count felony driving while intoxicated on July 11, a third degree felony.
  • Robert Royal Eakin, Jr. – one count felony driving while intoxicated on Aug. 16, a third degree felony.
  • Jose Guadalupe Alba-Rivera – one count felony driving while intoxicated on July 2, a third degree felony.
  • Roy Durwood Hooten, Jr. – one count possession of a fire arm by a felon on July 5, a third degree felony.
