CCPA selects new officers

Clay County Pioneer Association Officers

Selected as CCPA officers for next year's Pioneer Reunion and Rodeo are Vice President Leda Roe, Vice President L.C. Harrison, President Graham Wilson, Vice President Lindy Choate, Vice President Eldon Cobb, Secretary Judy Davidson, Vice President Carla Pullen and Second Vice President Linda Bevering.

During its Saturday afternoon meeting at the courthouse bandstand, the Clay County Pioneer Association named its officers for next year’s event, set for the third weekend in September 2012.

Serving as president for the 81st annual Clay County Pioneer Reunion and Rodeo is Graham Wilson of Henrietta. Honorary vice presidents are Lindy Choate of Byers, L.C. Harrison of Dean, Leda Roe of Buffalo Springs and Eldon Cobb of Joy.

Assisting the president are Carla Sue Pullen of Bellevue, vice president; Linda Bevering of Charlie, second vice president; and Judy Davidson of Henrietta, secretary.

Handing Wilson the reigns was 2011 CCPA PResident Jack Bevering. Serving as vice presidents for the 80th annual Reunion was Cotton Shepherd of Bluegrove, Bill Nobles of Henrietta, Ronnie Dowdy of Jolly and Stanley Seabourn of Willow Springs.
