Bronc, muggin’ and doctoring entries


Entry fees for the ranch bronc, double mugging and team doctoring competitions will be accepted until the rodeo or the event begins.

The ranch bronc and double mugging events will take place during each Pioneer Reunion rodeo performance Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at Tex Rickard Memorial Arena. The team doctoring event will be Friday afternoon, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the arena.

Ranch Bronc entries are $60 per rider. The event is limited to 15 participants with five competing each night. The event pays first, second and third places on all three nights combined.

Entry fees for double mugging is $100 per team with a $10 stock fee. Double mugging also will pay out the top three places and is limited to 30 teams. There is a two loop limit, must look through loop, chute run, three bone cross tied, six second tied time.

The team doctoring competition is $80 per four-man team, and limited to $30 teams. There is a four loop limit and any rope on the ground is a spent loop. All four men must be mounted and time starts when the steer clears chute. Time stops when all ropes clear cattle, shoulder forward.
